Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her.
Arise: to grow up, mature, come into being
We, as woman, tend to have various methods of trying to win respect from husbands, boyfriends, children, friends, co-workers etc; but throughout the entire chapter of 31, we are shown that the only WAY to gain the respect we desire is by practicing and internalizing the Word, and allowing our walk to reflect His righteousness. This woman's productivity, submission, responsibility, steadfastness, and diligence have laid a stable foundation for her children and her husband within their home, therefore, the integrity of her lifestyle has not only gained trust from them; but has allowed respect and honor to follow her. And because of the lifesyle she has displayed to her children, they "arise" and become men and woman established in the Word.Theres no better way to gain respect than to be rooted in the ONE who, Himself, is exalted above all.
