Woman of Submission

Vs. 23
Her husband is respected at the city gate,
where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.

There is no better way to gain respect than to live a lifestyle that is lined up with the Word of God. I don't think Ive ever met a person full of integrity that I struggled giving my respect to. Proverbs implies that we leave even our enemies speechless when our character reflects that of Christ's. You desire a respected husband, you first must be in a place where respect is due.Singles: Remember the bait you use determines the type of you fish you reel in. Therefore, trying to submit to some guy before submitting the Lord will pave a the path for your future that you DONT want to walk down. Theres nothing more attractive than a young woman passionately, selflessly, and whole heartily pursuing the Lord. And in order to attract a guy doing the same, we first must be living a lifestyle that reflects reckless abandonment to the Lord. Matthew tells us to seek FIRST the Kingdom of God and ALL these things will be added to you......in other words you will get that FULL package you've always dreamed of, if you're eyes are fixed on Him.

He will give you desire of you heart, just be willing to wait for it. It more than worth it.
Married: I'm not one to be offering marriage advice, since I'm not there. BUT it only makes sense to me that the order of our household rises and falls with the head. And all through Scripture it tells us that the man is the head, therefore our submission and faithfulness to the Lord will reflect our submission to our husbands. If we're not submitting to our husbands then the respect he is due is not given to him and he lacks the support he needs to sustain the position as the leader of our household.

Even though hes called to be the head of the house; the environment and nature of our home is ultimately rooted in our devotion to Him.
